Check out this beautiful executive home in River Heights! 4 beds, 3 baths, and one great design team to put it all together! (Okay… probably several – I mean, this place is gorgeous, but we got to decorate it)
The lighter, warm floors of the main living area, combined with a ton of lighting from the many windows means that deep contrasts play well – for a few splashes of colour, soft and natural shades that work with the base flooring (and pair well with the deeper/lighter shades!).
We’re accepting that this is uncommon, but in a space this wide-open, it’s important to find a nice balance between the pieces; we have a nice glass table pairing with a glass coffee table (and a glass railing, too, leading down to another glass coffee table!), but nothing is particularly “crowding” to any other elements.
Downstairs, we elected to work with this gorgeous floor (which is just barely beyond monochrome) and, again, add a little au naturel to it in the colour scheme with a bit of plant-life, but aside from that, this is just a texture paradise; the same can be said for the one bedroom we staged, as well.
