Creating a charming living space is something we’re always keen to do. This gorgeous 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home in Lakeview caught our attention, and we hope it will catch yours!
A new move-in from an older-style of home to something newer, (the newer as seen here!), can present a unique challenge: how do you make your furniture blend from one living space to the next in an open-concept living area? The simplest way to achieve this is by adding some like elements, which we’ve done across this property. A few small glasswares and reflective surfaces (the table tray in the sitting room, and the vase on the dining table); the expansion to this is found in the artwork visible to the left in the first two photographs, which acts as a tie-in for the rug, and the navy elements, as well as the cream-coloured dining chairs.
In the bedroom, that colour-symmetry is maintained with a few decorative pillows and a throw, giving this room a homely feeling that helps add drama to the amazing sliding barn door access!
