Our Staging at 125 Ave D South

Walking distance from Midtown and just off 22 St E, this is a great neighbourhood to come home to, with a design to keep you comfortable for years to come!

The living room offers us a dramatic shift in level, with an excellent carried symmetry; the end tables, sub-end table, wall surface and coffee table are all set in at differing heights, which creates a transition from piece to piece – they work together, but the dissimilarity helps move the eye from one piece to the next.

We found some delightful black-and-white classical pieces that served us well in breathing into this dining space; we were confronted with a common challenge in a home of this age; opposite double-hung windows are light-limiting, so selecting bolt shades is a must. Why not throw a little retro at it with period-matching mirrors?

Lastly, the bedroom space; as always, symmetry between this and the outside appeals to the senses, with a few smaller accessories to match. Because this room, too, is not gifted with a good source of light, the bright tones really help make the space pop under a single overhead light source.
